The Pavilion at Mohawk Falls was built in the spring and summer of 2016, and finishing touches are being added continually. Joseph Cantin of Lancaster, NH was the lead contractor on the project. The structure went up with the help of the owner Dana Bartlett, and his good friends and family. See our Facebook photo album to see the construction in chronological order. Many hours of fine craftsmanship are apparent in this 40' x 80' post and beam pavilion built with mortise and tenon joints.
It is set on the edge of a picturesque pond, which a deck leads out to. The Pavilion is able to accommodate weddings of up to 180 guests comfortably, with seating around round tables, including space for a buffet and dance floor. Larger groups can be accommodated with alternate layouts for various events. A footbridge makes the pavilion within easy walking access of the gazebo for guests' full enjoyment. Inside you'll find a bar that is suited to serve alcohol for functions, as well as string lights on the interior posts. The venue is able to be rented for private functions such as weddings, proms or annual business meetings. Public events are held in the space as well, including concerts, festivals and expos. Outside caterers are contracted by rental clients to serve food for events. See this page for more information on booking, or the Events page for our schedule of public events. |
